Ahhh. I'm studying for our module 1 history test and I'm mad at these French guys that decided to come here and discover North America. I hate learning dates. And now, because of Jacques Cartier and Giovanni da Verazzano and others...I have to learn dates...gr...all the dates sound the same...1524, 1534, 1535, 1541, 1542, 1608, 1666, 1663 ahhhh....too many numbers....and it's all basically Jacques Cartier's fault.
LOOK. I'M POSTING. I KEPT MY PROMISE. I'm actually very proud of myself. I am actually posting in this thing. And my blog has lasted more than a few days! And people are actually reading it! Except THEY AREN'T COMMENTING. Except for Anne of course :).
By the way, Anne, check your email, because I sent you something kind of important. Hopefully you will get it...I'll explain why later.
So...today, I woke up really early to go skating. I had a "OH MY GOD IT'S A BREAKTHROUGH" dance lesson with Anthony, and then did some super nice axels and then had a freestyle lesson. The problem was, I had skated for 2 hours straight before my freestyle lesson, so I had NO energy what so ever during my lesson, and my axels SUCKED and so did all my other jumps...my friend was like "I WANT TO SEE YOUR AXEL! I HEAR ITS GOOD!" and I showed her this pathetic, ugly axel after which I fell and spun around on my knees. I also tried some double toe loops and landed on my stomach, once on my massive bruise from doing double toe last week, and once on my elbow/knee...I kind of skinned my elbow!
Ahhhh...skating....how I love it :)
During skating, a song by the Beatles was playing...called "I've Just Seen a Face". I found it funny, because the chorus is:
"Falling, yes I am falling, and she keeps calling me back again."
And that applies so much to my skating it's not even funny. I am in a lesson, I take a leap of faith into the air, fall on my butt/stomach/knees/elbows and laugh at myself, then my coach calls me back to the boards while laughing at me to tell me why I fell. Yup.
Today, I also decided that in December, I'm going to test my Jr. Bronze elements, maybe Jr. Bronze solo, Sr. Bronze Skills, American Waltz (FOR THE FRICKEN 5TH TIME), Rocker Foxtrot, AND the Harris Tango..and pass EVERYTHING. SOMEHOW!!!! haha anyone want to keep me company on test day since I'll be at the rink for like 8 hours if I test all that???lol
I'm really annoyed at that movie called "Across the Universe". I've never seen it, but lots of Beatles music is in it, and now my grade is suddenly obsessed with the Beatles. I bet most of the people who suddenly became obsessed don't even know who the Beatles are...grr it's annoying...I know some of them aren't "fake" Beatles fans, but I feel like lots of them ARE indeed fake....meh this little "phase" will probably pass in a week or so...
Tra la la la laaaa.
I have so many postly picture worthy pictures. I can't choose which one to post for this post!
Well, I think this occasion calls for two pictures to be posted.
I took this in Paris...doesn't it kind of look like the Beatles' Abbey Road album cover???
I was planning on posting another picture here...but now stupid blogger won't let me!!!!
(I am quite enjoying using the word "stupid" in this post)
This past week, all the new TV shows started! So now, I will do a little mini review on the ones that I watched.
(LOOK AT THIS!!!!! I AM ACTUALLY GETTING IDEAS ON WHAT TO WRITE IN MY POSTS!!!)
HOUSE:
IT WAS AMAZING. House's team was gone and that was kind of sad, but House was as amazing as ever. He consulted a janitor guy and got in trouble for it...and his guitar was stolen which was pretty funny. Ok, that's enough about House.
PRIVATE PRACTICE:
This is Grey's Anatomy little spin off show. It was ok, much better than the preview that was shown last year, but I'm not sure it will last...I hope it gets better...I really don't like the new characters....
GREY'S ANATOMY:
It was really good and pretty funny, because the "interns" now are residents and have their own interns and are trying to be just like Bailey, who is, in my opinion, the best actress on the show. I feel so bad for George, who is an intern again...but I'm so glad he's still on the show!
Ok reviews over.
It is time for me to go watch some Gilmore Girls. I was working so much today and my time to be productive is over. Now I must rot my brain in front of the TV.
I'm running out of quotes.
Why did the chicken run across the road? There was a car coming.

Ahaha good quote.
Actually, I think you should see Across the Universe. I really loved it. But yeah, it can be annoying when people only seem to know music because of films...but on the other hand, if it's good music, it's not a big deal.
I also happen to love that song. I never thought of its significance in skating, though.
Appropriate photo. You should maybe post more from Paris.
Ha ha ha your taste in television programs seems to be, in most cases, rather thematic.
Yeah, stupid dates. I remember 1671 as the year of the saint.
Freestyle?
