Blogging for English Class

Yes, we have to write a blog for English...but it's a blog on a book that we read over March break which is kind of strange. We had to choose a pseudonym (either an author or literary character) and we have to sign all our blog entries with that name. It's a really weird project and we have WAY too much work for English due this week...grr...

I don't have time to write right now because I have 3 Actualité magazines to read and write about for French class and a whole poetry assignment to do for English as well as some weird writing assignment on food to do for English and my tidbit for history and science notes to write and questions to answer on those notes and piano to practice and math to review for a quiz on systems of equations that I forget how to do. Sounds fun, doesn't it?

BY THE WAY, MONTREAL WEST SOCCER IS SOON! ANNE, ARE YOU PLAYING?

I skated yesterday...I was supposed to test but I didn't because I hadn't had a lesson with my dance coach in 3 and a half months (he went to Europe on a tour...) and yesterday was my first lesson with him in all that time and the test was yesterday afternoon. So yes. That's why I didn't do my dance test. But, in May, I'm officially testing:

Jr. Bronze freestyle (elements and solo because I probably could have passed the elements a long time ago and solo is easy to pass)
Sr. Bronze skills (I suck at them but I WILL be ready by May hopefully...)
Rocker (dance that I was supposed to test yesterday)
Harris Tango (another dance that I need to pass for me to move up to the next level)

Yay! That is going to be an expensive test day because each test is $10 so it will cost me $50.

Next time I write, I'll give you a full out description of scuba diving, which I did during March break, as well as lots of detail about my Mexico band trip. I want to write this now because I don't want to go do my homework but I'll have to refrain myself....lol so stay tuned!! :D

PREVIEW OF NEXT AMAZING BLOG POST:

It's time for a pointless rant because I have nothing else more intellectual to write about

Ok who made up the word phenolphthalein? I hate it. I really do. I mean it sounds cool, sure, when you can pronounce it properly. But there are way too many ways to mess up in the spelling of it. In my December science exam, I spelled it the following ways:

1) phenolphtalein
2) phenolphthaline
3) phenolpthalein

Three different ways, none of which were correct.

I also can't figure out who in the world decided to put a PH and a TH in a row in a word. It is not physically possible for me to say those two sounds together. I end up spitting at who ever is in front of me at the moment I am struggling to pronounce PHTH and then I end up pronouncing it WRONG! IT's not even that hard to pronounce!!!! My science teacher can say it correctly, AND with a Turkish accent, which must be even harder. And then theres me, sitting at hte back of the science class, wondering how in the world people can say PHTH so easily. You know what's also annoying? The fact that we have to write "It turned fuschia" instead of PINK is because FUSCHIA IS HARDER TO SPELL AHHH. Apparently the science people in Quebec are trying to make my life difficult.

Alright, well to conclude, I am writing because I'm avoiding studying my science notes in an attempt to figure out how exactly I am going to memorize [H+] = invlog (-pH) and all all the other little formula things that we will probably have a quiz on on Monday.

On a different note, I skated this morning and my coach made fun of me for 30 minutes straight. Well, pretty much. It was funny :)
